In conjunction with DAMA International, the Global Data Management Community, this course explores how big data is making an impact in Financial Accounting. Accountants are moving away from the general ledger and towards enterprise data warehouses. We will examine how new roles are being identified in business partner areas, such as how data interpreters help marry accountancy with analytics technology and drive/realise value from data.
