SUMMARY:iCap's 6th Annual International Women’s Day Lunch
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]To celebrate International Women’s Day\, and raise awareness of the work that icap does with women\, icap will be hosting its 6th Women’s Lunch at the Marylebone Hotel. \nChartered Accountants Ireland London Society has been allocated a small number of tickets at this hugely popular event. \nSurround yourself with some of the most engaging women. Network\, network\, network. \nTicket includes a drinks reception\, followed by a three course meal with wine and tea and coffee to finish. \nDuring the lunch there will be a charity raffle with some great prizes up for grabs. \nBookings close 17 January. This event is not to be missed. \nicap was founded in 1995 to meet the needs of Irish immigrants resident in Britain. Now nearing its 20th year\, icap works largely with the Irish diaspora\, as well as those of Irish descent and other immigrant communities living in Britain. Our work provides lasting benefits to some of the most fragile and isolated people in Britain. And\, whilst there are many agencies that cater for the needs of the Irish in Britain\, icap is one of the only dedicated counselling and psychotherapy providers. We specialise in helping those with issues of abuse and cultural loss\, making us unique as an organisation.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Book Now” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.charteredaccountants.ie%2FMeetings%2FMeeting.aspx%3FID%3D42905||target:%20_blank|”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:ISCA FRC-AFA Financial Reporting and Business Conference 2019
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nRising to the challenges of financial reporting •  Celebration of the 21st AFA Conference\nThe geopolitical competition between the US and China will increase significantly in the coming decades. This will put all countries in the Asia Pacific region in a difficult position\, especially if they have to choose between both parties. Join Mr Kishore Mahbubani\, Distinguished Fellow\, Asia Research Institute\, National University of Singapore this November as he shares his views on US-China Trade War and their implications to ASEAN. \nBoth the United States and China are important economic partners of ASEAN – the US is the 4th largest trading partner for ASEAN while China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) presents vast opportunities to enhance greater global economic integration and investment linkages within ASEAN. The two countries continue to be embroiled in a trade war\, with debilitating consequences for business and governments alike.
