May 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm EDT

AI & Accountants Get Real

SYNOPSIS: Presentation – AI and Accountants get Real

This is a 90-minute webinar with polling questions / audience CPE. It is a follow on from our October 2023 event which included a focus on ‘The AI Dilemma – 7 principles for Responsible Technology’. This follow on is a continuation of that discussion with a focus on accountants and the future of the profession – what is changing and what needs to change.

This presentation will introduce the CAW Technology working group and provide a high-level overview of its 2024 objectives in relation to AI. The presentation will also explore the potential practical uses and opportunities for Generative AI in accounting, discussing co-pilots and walking through an example of an accounting co-pilot.

We will also have a discussion where our panel responds to scripted and audience questions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

By the end of the session, attendees will have achieved the following objectives:

  1. Understand what the CAW working group is focusing on for 2024 and its objectives in respect of AI.
