Chartered Accountants Worldwide, in collaboration with our member institutes and Ipsos, is undertaking the second wave of a significant global research study exploring the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the Chartered Accountancy profession.

We invite members to contribute to this important work.

About the study

As AI technologies continue to evolve, it is essential that the profession is ready to adapt and develops a clear, evidence-based understanding of how these changes are influencing professional roles, skills and expectations across markets.

This latest survey builds on earlier findings of wave 1 and seeks to understand how perspectives are progressing in relation to:

  • Traditional AI
  • Generative AI
  • Agentic AI

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and will provide valuable insights to inform future thinking, strategy and leadership across the global profession.

Why your input matters

Your experience and perspective as a member are critical to ensuring that the profession responds effectively to emerging technological change. The findings from this research will support Chartered Accountants Worldwide and its member institutes in shaping a coordinated, forward-looking approach to AI.

Confidentiality and governance

All responses will be treated in strict confidence and reported only in anonymised and aggregated form, unless explicit permission is given. The research is conducted by Ipsos in accordance with the MRS Code of Conduct and the ICC/ESOMAR International Code. Further details are available in the Ipsos privacy notice at the start of the survey.
