Chartered Accountants Worldwide and One Young World
One Young World Summit will be hosted in South Africa in November 2026, returning to Africa for the first time since Johannesburg 2013, with Cape Town set to host the Summit.
Taking place as South Africa marks 50 years since the Soweto Youth Uprising, the Summit will honour this legacy and celebrate the young leaders shaping our future through innovation, entrepreneurship, and bold action.
Chartered Accountants Worldwide is proud to be sending a delegation once again this year, continuing a tradition that spans over a decade. For us, One Young World is more than an event—it’s a chance to connect, inspire, and empower the next generation of Chartered Accountants to lead with purpose and impact on a truly global stage.
Highlights from Previous Years
One Young World 2025 Summit
One Young World 2025 was hosted in the City of Munich, a global hub for innovation and technology, with a rich history and vibrant culture.
Known for its stunning architecture, world-class universities, and thriving business and research centres, Munich is also home to many multinational companies and cutting-edge science and technology hubs.
The Summit ran from 3–6 November 2025 and brought together over 2,000 young leaders from more than 190 countries, gathering across some of the city’s most iconic venues.
One Young World 2024 Summit
The 2024 One Young World Summit took place on 18th – 21st September in the vibrant, multicultural city of Montreal, Canada.
Montréal is a vibrant and multicultural city, known for its rich history, culture, and innovation. It is also home to many global organisations, such as the United Nations, UNESCO, and the International Civil Aviation Organization. Montréal was the perfect place to host the One Young World Summit, as it offers a diverse and inspiring environment for young leaders to connect, learn, and collaborate.
One Young World 2023 Summit
The 2023 One Young World Summit took place on 5th – 8th September in the vibrant, historic city of Manchester, UK.
Chartered Accountants Worldwide and its Member Institutes were represented at the event by delegates who represented the brightest young talent from across the globe. They were there to debate the key issues the world faces, sharing their ideas and experiences and working with peers to formulate and share innovative solutions.

The 2022 One Young World Summit took place on 5th – 8th September in the vibrant, historic city of Manchester, UK.
Chartered Accountants Worldwide and its Member Institutes were represented at the event by delegates who represented the brightest young talent from across the globe. They were there to debate the key issues the world faces, sharing their ideas and experiences and working with peers to formulate and share innovative solutions.
One Young World 2021 Summit
The 2021 One Young World Summit took place in Munich, Germany, where over 1,800 young leaders from 190+ countries gathered across the city’s well-known venues, including Olympiapark, Olympiahalle, and BMW Welt.
At Munich Chartered Accountants Worldwide and its Member Institutes delegates had the chance to network, debate, make long-lasting connections and discuss innovative solutions for solving some of the world’s issues.
