Yesterday, (10th February 2026), CAW Connects… brought overseas representatives together for a lunch and meeting at Chartered Accountants’ Hall, kindly hosted by ICAEW.

Representatives from Institutes in Namibia, Singapore, India, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh attended the meeting.

The meeting built on the momentum from our July 2025 discussions, providing an opportunity for Chartered Accountants Worldwide and our member institutes to share their top priorities and outline key areas of focus and collaboration for 2026 and beyond. Conversations were open and constructive, with a strong emphasis on practical ways to work together more closely and maximise collective impact.

It was particularly encouraging to see the strength of the connections in the room and the shared eagerness to collaborate across borders. The engagement and energy demonstrated underscored the value of CAW Connects… in strengthening relationships and supporting coordinated action across the global Chartered Accountancy community.
