Event summary
Join us for an interactive session at CA House in Edinburgh as we bring together experts from across the accounting, finance and sustainability sectors to explore what makes a transition plan both credible and worth investing in.
As countries commit to net zero goals, the pressure for companies and other stakeholders to show how they plan to decarbonise is rising. However, not all transition plans are created equal.
Fiona Donnelly, Director of Sustainability at ICAS will be joined by assurer Alison Dundjerovic from Deloitte, sustainability practitioner Alex Sutton from SSE and investor Jo Walker from Royal London group to unpack how businesses, especially those in high-carbon sectors can create real, trustworthy roadmaps for change that attract investment and build long-term confidence.
This event is part of the inaugural Edinburgh Finance Festival (EFF) programme taking place from 15-26 September. The festival features events run by different international organisations celebrating the city’s place on the global finance stage.
Whether you’re a finance professional, accounting student, or just curious about the pathway to a lower carbon and more stable world, this is a chance to connect, learn and be part of an important conversation shaping the future of finance and society.
