Caitriona Jennings FCA CPA on building a remarkable career — and breaking records along the way.
What do tax advisory, aviation finance, and 100-mile ultra-marathons have in common? For Caitriona Jennings FCA CPA, they’re all chapters in the same extraordinary story.
Caitriona began her career at PwC before moving into aviation leasing, where she built expertise at the trading desk of one of the world’s most dynamic asset classes. Away from the office, she has represented Ireland on the world stage — competing in the marathon at the 2012 London Olympics, and most recently setting a world record in the 100-mile ultra-marathon in November 2025 with a time of 12:37:04.
In this episode of Difference Makers Discuss, Caitriona reflects on what connects high-performance sport and high-performance finance: the ability to embrace setbacks, build resilience, and keep going when the finish line feels impossibly far away. This is a conversation about ambition, adaptability, and what it really takes to go the distance — in business and in life.
