September 3, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm IST

Equality. Diversity. Opportunity.

Building Resilience: A #FinBiz2030 Series
“Equality. Diversity. Opportunity”

Thursday 3 September 17.30 BST / 18.30 SAST / 12.30 EST

About the event

Following from the previous event, “Courage in Adversity”, we are proud to present “Equality. Diversity. Opportunity” as the next in our Building Resilience series.

There are many achievements to celebrate when it comes to equality, but we still have a long way to go.

We must not only acknowledge the hard truths, but take actions to address them. We have a responsibility to confront the systemic disadvantages experienced by individuals on the basis of their race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status and beyond.

Join us as we learn from those who have lived those experiences, lifted others in communities who needed them, and are leveraging new innovations to architect a more inclusive world. Leave this event with the means and motivation to address inequality in your personal and professional lives.

Who should attend?

The ‘Building Resilience’ webinar series is aimed at young finance, accountancy and business professionals, students and One Young World Ambassadors.

About the series

Every corner of the world has been touched by this pandemic unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. As it stands, the socioeconomic outlook is uncertain and the future is challenging as millions have experienced some sort of displacement in their professional and personal lives.

But as the world begins to adjust to COVID-19 and move forward, we need to ensure the world’s workforce is ready to rebuild with optimism and lead with resilience. We must work towards creating a more sustainable future, and that requires each and every one of us to play our part.

As part of the ‘Building Resilience’ Series, we will bring you insight and experience from young leaders and experts that will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to lead through this uncertain time.
