Event summary

Join our open discussion about dyslexia, a condition that is estimated to occur in at least one in 10 people around the world.

There are still many misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding this neurodiversity. During the webinar, ICAS Council Member Emily Cheyne CA will share her personal experiences with dyslexia. In a recent interview for the Championing Unique Perspectives series, Emily discussed the importance of more education in the workplace about dyslexia and how leaders need to be given the proper tools and recommendations on how to best work with employees with dyslexia.

We will also be joined by Dyslexia Routes Founder Sharon Hall who will explain the nuances and intricacies of the neurodiversity.

This webinar is part of ICAS’ continuing work to improve ED&I in the profession and society in general. Visit the Diversity Hub for more information on ICAS’ work on ED&I.
