About the speakers

Graeme Morrison CA

Born in Hong Kong, Graeme attended Dollar Academy in Scotland as a boarder, and it was here that he was first introduced to rugby. Upon leaving school, Graeme went on to enjoy a 10-year professional rugby career representing the Glasgow Warriors 176 times. He gained 35 international caps for Scotland, with some of his fondest memories including the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in 2011, being a member of the victorious 2008 Calcutta Cup side and beating Ireland in their last ever home match at Croke Park, Dublin in 2010.

Following a series of knee injuries, Graeme was forced into retirement from the game in 2013. He then embarked on a new career, training as a Chartered Accountant with the Royal Bank of Scotland, achieving the qualification in 2017 and featuring as one of ICAS’ 35 CAs under 35 that year.

Graeme joined Johnston Carmichael in 2018 where he is now a Corporate Finance Manager working in the firm’s Glasgow office.
