Change for Sustainability!

November 10, 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm WIB

FinBiz Change for Sustainability

The role of the accountancy profession in maintaining trust in an era of sustainability.

Sustainability should be at the forefront of everyone’s agenda, and yet, for many businesses, both large and small, it’s not!

Chartered Accountants are perfectly placed to help address this. They are a nexus for change within an organisation. As trusted advisors, Chartered Accountants are at the centre of sustainability reporting and are key to helping companies embed sustainability-related goals and regulations and perform on-the-ground monitoring and measuring.

The role of finance and business in meeting the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals is crucial. The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – both developed and developing – in a global partnership.

The UN SDGs recognise that ending poverty and other deprivations must go together with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

With on-going social and economic upheaval, it is vital that sustainability does not slip down the agenda. We are calling on you to be an agent of change for a better future. Can you be the Difference Maker?

Join us to hear from leaders within Indonesia and beyond, who will provide a local and global perspective on the shared challenges facing us all.

APA Fest 2022 will culminate in a joint session with FinBiz2030 – part of the FinBiz2030 Building Resilience event series. The webinar will take place on the 10th of November 2022, with the theme “Change for Sustainability”. The joint session brings together a panel of young leaders in the finance and business communities who are making a difference in Indonesia, the ASEAN region and beyond.
